Print Guidance

At Altier Weddings, each stationery suite has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a seamless transition from digital template to printed perfection.

This guidance page has been created to support you through the printing process - offering recommendations on paper types, sizing, finishes and professional print options to ensure your stationery reflects the refined quality of your wedding visuals.

Whether you choose to print at home or through a specialist print studio, the information below will help you achieve a polished, editorial finish across every piece of your suite.

Invitation & Save the Date

5 X 7 inches

We recommend printing on premium heavyweight cardstock between 300–350gsm to ensure durability and a luxurious hand feel. A matte or lightly textured paper stock works beautifully with the soft, understated typography of the Maison suite, preventing glare while enhancing readability.

For the most elevated result, professional printing is advised. This ensures crisp linework, true-to-tone colour reproduction, and a polished finish worthy of your wedding stationery.

RSVP, Details & Thank You

5 X 7 inches or A6

We recommend printing these cards on high-quality matte cardstock between 250–300gsm. This weight provides structure while keeping the pieces lightweight enough for mailing and handling.

A smooth uncoated or fine linen texture complements the minimalist design and ensures ink sits beautifully on the page. Both home printing on a high-resolution setting or professional printing are suitable, depending on your preferred finish.

For a cohesive stationery suite, we advise matching the paper type used for your invitations where possible.

Menus

4 X 9 inches

Menus are typically printed on elegant yet sturdy cardstock around 250–300gsm. A matte or soft-touch finish complements tablescape styling without glare under lighting. For place setting menus, professional printing is recommended to ensure clean alignment and a polished presentation at each table setting.

Table Numbers

5 X 7 inches

Table numbers should be printed on firm cardstock between 300–350gsm to allow them to stand securely in holders or frames. Matte, textured, or handmade papers elevate the visual impact within your reception décor. For the most structured result, we recommend professional printing.

Reservations

A6 (105 x 148 mm)

Reserved seating cards are best printed on durable matte cardstock around 300gsm to ensure they remain structured when placed on tables or chairs. A soft uncoated finish enhances readability while preserving the suite’s refined aesthetic.

Welcome Sign

A1 (594 x 841 mm) or A2 (420 x 594 mm)

For large-format signage, we recommend printing on foam board, acrylic, or mounted cardstock for stability and a luxury display finish. Professional large-scale printing is advised to ensure clarity, colour accuracy, and durability throughout your wedding day.

Maintaing these proportions ensures visual cohesion throughout your wedding suite.

For the most elevated finish, we always recommend professional printing to fully capture every texture, tone and detail of your Altier Weddings stationery suite.
